Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 4 July 2026
This policy sets out what you may and may not do when using Unbottleneck. It applies to every user of the service, on every plan, whether free or paid. Breaking these rules is a breach of our Terms of Service and can lead to content removal, suspension, or termination without a refund.
1. Content you may not submit
You must not upload, post, generate, request, or transmit content that:
- Is unlawful, or promotes, facilitates, or celebrates unlawful activity.
- Infringes anyone else's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or confidentiality rights.
- Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or that targets people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
- Depicts, describes, or facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors, or is sexually explicit.
- Contains graphic violence or gore, encourages self-harm, or promotes suicide or eating disorders.
- Contains malware, exploits, or is designed to disrupt any system or service.
- Contains someone else's personal data that you have no lawful basis to share, including copies of leaked databases.
- Consists of secrets you should not paste into a third-party service — passwords, API keys, payment card numbers, or government-issued identity numbers.
2. Behaviour towards other users
Unbottleneck lets multiple users interact — for example when an administrator broadcasts announcements, when you submit content that our team reviews, or when you contact us through the Support system. Whenever you interact with another user (including our staff):
- Treat people respectfully. No abuse, harassment, discrimination, doxxing, or personal attacks.
- Do not impersonate anyone else, including staff, other users, or a company you do not represent.
- Do not send unsolicited marketing, chain messages, referral spam, or bulk-identical messages to our team.
- Do not attempt to obtain another user's account credentials, personal data, or payment information.
- Do not use the service to organise or coordinate harm against another person.
3. Technical abuse
You must not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any part of the service, except where the law expressly allows this.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures. If you find a security issue, report it responsibly through Support.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service — for example by launching a denial-of-service attack, generating deliberately excessive load, or attempting to overwhelm the AI provider through our service.
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the service without our written consent.
- Use bots, headless browsers, or automated tools to create accounts, generate analyses, or interact with the service outside of published interfaces.
- Share, sell, sublicense, or resell your account, or grant access to your account to anyone outside your organisation.
- Use the service to develop or train a product that competes with Unbottleneck.
4. AI-specific rules
The conversational analyser is powered by third-party AI models. You must not:
- Attempt to jailbreak, deceive, or subvert the model's safety guardrails, or use "prompt injection" to make it produce content that breaks this policy.
- Ask the model to produce content that would break this policy if you posted it directly (e.g. malware, targeted harassment, sexual content involving minors).
- Use the analyser to generate misleading content that is passed off as human-written where the law or context requires disclosure of AI use.
- Rely on the analyser's output as professional advice — see our Disclaimer.
5. Fair use of the service
Unbottleneck is priced for individual professional use. We may apply reasonable limits on the volume of analyses, messages, and API calls per account to prevent abuse and to protect service quality for everyone else. If you have a legitimate need to go beyond those limits, contact us through Support.
6. Age and eligibility
You must be at least 16 to use Unbottleneck. If you are using the service on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to enter into these terms on its behalf.
7. Reporting abuse
If someone else is breaking this policy
Contact us through /support with as much detail as you can share, including screenshots, timestamps, and links. We treat reports confidentially where possible.
If you receive an abusive message from us or from another user
Report it via /support. Genuine harassment is a serious breach and we will act on it.
8. What happens if you break these rules
Depending on how serious and how repeated the breach is, we may:
- Remove or hide the offending content.
- Warn you.
- Restrict specific features (e.g. read-only access, disable broadcasts).
- Suspend your account temporarily.
- Terminate your account permanently, with no refund of prepaid fees.
- Report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities and cooperate with investigations.
We usually try to give you a chance to fix things where the breach is minor and unintentional, but we do not have to.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to keep it fit for purpose. Material changes will be signposted in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
