Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 July 2026
These terms are a legal agreement between you and Atif Perwiz Consulting Ltd (trading as Unbottleneck, "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Unbottleneck you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who we are
Atif Perwiz Consulting Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16381942, with registered address Unit 120064, PO Box 6945, London, W1A 6US, United Kingdom. You can contact us through the Support page at /support.
2. The service
Unbottleneck is a conversational tool that interviews you about your business processes and produces a diagnosis and prioritised action plan. It is a decision-support tool, not professional advice — see our Disclaimer.
3. Your account
You must be at least 16 to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password confidential.
- All activity that happens under your account.
- Giving us accurate account information and keeping it up to date.
Tell us immediately via Support if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Free trial and subscription
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access. After the trial you need an active paid subscription to keep using paid features. Standard is $99/month; Pro is $499/month (the exact currency and any applicable tax are shown at checkout — display prices in other currencies are indicative, converted at today's FX rate; the actual charge goes through in USD). Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel any time from the Account page. On cancellation you keep access until the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate partial months. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.
5. Acceptable use
Your use of the service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Breaking those rules is a breach of these terms and may lead to suspension or termination of your account.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you enter into the service ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, back up, and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you (including sending it to our AI provider to generate responses on your behalf). We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to train third-party models.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to submit Your Content and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone else's rights.
7. Our intellectual property
The Unbottleneck brand, software, design, and content (other than Your Content) belong to us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you. You must not copy, reverse-engineer, or resell the service without our written permission.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the service running but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features; if a change is materially adverse to you we will give you reasonable notice.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or use the service in a way that harms us or other users. We may also close the service, in which case we'll give reasonable notice and, where you have prepaid, a fair pro-rata refund.
You can close your account at any time from the Account page.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law we exclude all implied warranties. Nothing in the service is professional, legal, financial, medical, or safety advice. See the Disclaimer.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or — for consumers — your statutory rights).
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent allowed by law:
- We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or connected to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period, or £100 if you have paid nothing.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU your statutory rights are unaffected. If you use the service in the course of a business, you accept that these limits are reasonable given the price of the service.
12. Business customers (B2B)
If you use Unbottleneck on behalf of a business and we process personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these terms.
13. Consumer rights (UK/EU)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days. Because our service starts immediately once your subscription begins, you agree that by paying you are asking us to begin performance during that period and you acknowledge that you will lose the right to cancel once the service has been fully performed. Our voluntary refund terms are in the Refund Policy.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects you we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where they live.
