Please read this carefully. It explains the limits of what Unbottleneck.io is and is not.
Not professional advice
Unbottleneck.io is a decision-support tool. Its diagnoses, action plans, and any other output are for general informational purposes only. They are not professional advice, legal, financial, tax, medical, safety, engineering, or otherwise. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions that could have significant business, financial, legal, or personal consequences.
AI-generated output
Unbottleneck.io relies on large language models to walk through your process with you and produce results. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out of date. You are responsible for reviewing the output before acting on it. Do not treat any response from the analyser as a guarantee of a specific outcome.
Where the AI gets its material
Every output is generated from three sources and nothing else:
- What you share during the walkthrough, including answers given by colleagues or customers you invite.
- The documents you upload, read by AI and, where readable, converted to text.
- The practitioner knowledge library built into the platform, retrieved as relevant passages and anonymised.
Money and time figures are calculated in software from those inputs. Where an input is missing, the figure is either shown as an assumption or left as "not quantified".
Known ways the output can be wrong
- A document can be misread, partly read, or read in the wrong order, especially scans, images and very large files.
- A step can be miscategorised, put in the wrong swimlane, or given a timing that was estimated rather than measured. Estimated timings are marked as estimates and can be edited by you.
- A calculated figure is only as good as the inputs behind it. An incomplete or wrong input produces a confident-looking but wrong number.
- Anonymisation of client material in the knowledge library is automated and is not guaranteed to catch every identifying detail.
- Findings, risks and recommendations are a starting point for your own verification, not a finished professional deliverable.
Your review obligation
Before you use any output for a decision, a board paper, a customer commitment, a regulatory submission, or any further analysis, you must review it and correct anything that is wrong. That includes the figures, the timings, the named owners and the dates. If you cannot verify a figure, do not present it as fact.
Every time you start a new process analysis, or buy a single diagnosis, we ask you to acknowledge this in the app. That acknowledgement, together with the version of the wording you saw and the date, is recorded against your account.
No warranty of accuracy
