Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for Unbottleneck subscriptions. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
14-day free trial
Every new account gets a 14-day free trial. You are not charged until the trial ends and you choose to subscribe, so you can decide whether Unbottleneck is right for you without paying anything up front.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any time from the Account page. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate partial months.
7-day satisfaction refund
If you subscribe and then decide within 7 days of the first successful payment that Unbottleneck is not for you, contact us via the Support page and we will refund that first monthly payment in full. This is a voluntary policy we offer on top of your legal rights.
The satisfaction refund is not available for:
- Renewal payments after the first one.
- Accounts we have suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Repeated refund requests from the same customer (we may treat these as an abuse of the policy).
Renewal payments
After the first month, subscriptions renew automatically each month at the price shown at checkout. We do not refund renewal payments once they have been processed. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date from the Account page.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry a small number of times and will notify you in the app. If we cannot collect payment we will downgrade your account to a read-only state until you fix your payment method — no partial charges will be taken.
Consumer rights (UK/EU)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you may have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a distance contract. Because Unbottleneck begins performing immediately once your subscription starts, you consent to that performance beginning during the cancellation period and you agree that you will lose the right to cancel once the service has been fully performed for a billing period. Our 7-day satisfaction refund above is more generous than the strict legal minimum in most cases.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing issue, please contact us first through /support — we will almost always resolve it quickly. Raising a chargeback with your card issuer without contacting us first can lead to your account being suspended.
How to request a refund
Submit a ticket via the Support page at /support with the email on your account and a short note about why you would like a refund. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
